Stone Barn guest house is a lovingly restored former livestock shelter that blends traditional Irish cottage charm with Scandinavian-inspired décor. Intended as a cosy place of calm in which to unwind and dine, we cater to couples and small groups of up to six guests looking for a calm, restorative getaway or stop-over.

Stone Barn B&B feels completely remote yet we are located just 12 minutes' drive from Skibbereen and have easy access to the stunning Wild Atlantic Way. Welcome to our countryside home! We are a couple who are passionate about creating a relaxed and welcoming visit. Stuart is a professional chef originally from Northern Ireland and Karin creates the atmosphere of her native Sweden. We work together to create a unique and unforgettable stay for you.
Dining
We serve what could be Ireland's best breakfast and tasting menus in the evening. I’m passionate about using locally sourced and home-grown ingredients, prepared with classical techniques and enriched by global flavors and traditions. My culinary expertise comes from years working on private yachts and for luxury Stockholm restaurants.
Accommodation
We offer three luxury rooms; an upstairs room and downstairs room in the Stone Barn itself plus the Cattle Wagon as a separate space.
Our rooms are designed with hotel comfort and cottage character in mind, offering amenities such as plush beds, fluffy towels, and cozy bathrobes. Our tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and free superfast wifi ensure you have everything you need to the most relaxing break.
